UserDr. Amy Camilleri graduated Doctor of Laws (LL.D) from the University of Malta in 2014 and was admitted to the bar in 2015. In 2021 she obtained a Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Funding.

Following her admittance to the bar, Amy worked in a boutique law firm mainly in the fields of family and insurance law. She subsequently joined the public administration where she worked in various areas of European affairs and coordination, including providing advice on the rule of law and anti-corruption policy of the European Commission and the Council of Europe’s Group of States against Corruption (GRECO).

Amy joined the Legislation Unit within the Office of the State Advocate in 2022. Her main duties involve the review of primary and secondary legislation and explanatory notes, as well as providing legal advice on the drafting process whenever required.
