Dr. Daniel Inguanez graduated from the College of Europe in Bruges with a LLM in EU Law, and from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and subsequently a Master of Advocacy (M.A.). He was admitted to the Maltese bar in 2019 and joined the Office of the State Advocate in 2021.

Daniel’s areas of expertise include constitutional and administrative law, public procurement and state aid law and European Union law. Daniel previously worked in private practice in the fields of corporate and commercial law, before joining the Department of Contracts within the Ministry for Finance as Junior Legal Officer where he advised contracting authorities on public procurement and state aid matters.

Daniel has authored publications in the Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice and in the International Review of Intellectual Property and Competition Law, for which he was awarded the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA) Award.
