Dr. Claudia Desira graduated from the University of Malta with a Master of Advocacy in 2020. She proceeded to obtain her warrant in 2021.
Claudia joined the Legislation Unit within the Office of the State Advocate in 2022 after having practised litigation in the private sector. She also worked briefly as a Junior Legal Officer at the Social Care Standards Authority (SCSA) where she was primarily tasked with advising on and litigating abduction and maintenance cases.
Claudia works closely with other lawyers and conducts reviews of primary and subsidiary legislation and explanatory notes, whilst also vetting documentation required to be submitted to the Cabinet Office.
